Island Pacific School would like to give a big shout and thanks to the community for all of the fun we had on SAT MAY 9!
IPS student band, School of Rock, set the stage with their energetic opening act followed by Bowen’s very own roots rock quintet Straightup Sevenhills. Straightup Sevenhills donated their time and talents to get over 150 folks together for a pre-show BBQ by Millers Meatcraft at the Bowen Theatre and raised $8,176 for the school’s Bursary Fund – helping to make IPS more financially feasible for more families.
