The Colin Ruloff Community Field House

We are excited to announce that the Colin Ruloff Community Field House (CRCF) is now open for rent on an hourly or daily basis. The facility boasts dimensions of 40’ x 54’ and has a seating capacity of 200. It is a versatile space perfect for various community events, including weddings, yoga classes, fitness sessions, and other recreational activities.

During the school year (September to June), the CRCF is reserved for school use from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays. However, it is available for public use from 4 pm to 8 pm on weekdays. On weekends, the facility can be booked from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Whether you’re planning a special event or looking for a space for recreational activities, the CRCF offers a welcoming venue for individuals and groups alike. Don’t hesitate to inquire about our rental options and availability.

Insurance

To proceed, we kindly request the submission of an insurance certificate (for groups and organizations only). The certificate should indicate a minimum general liability coverage of $2 million and include Island Pacific School Society (671 Carter Road, Bowen Island, BC V0N 1G2) as an additional insured party.

General Court Use Information

• We have a broom and squeegee hanging on the forest side of the middle post. Users may consider bringing a leaf blower or towels, depending on the conditions
• The Pickleball net might be hanging on the back side of the pony wall, and the net standards tip and roll, making them easy to position into place
• To turn off the lights, use the main switch located on the second post on the parking lot side

Steps to Make a Booking

1. Google Calendar for bookings: for the short term we will be managing bookings in the CRCF via a simple Google Calendar but we have plans to launch a more robust system in the New Year. 
2. Court use (up to 90 minutes) is bookable for $25 + $1.25 = $26.25 GST
3. Use this booking form to request a booking, then submit payment via e transfer to booking@islandpacific.org. Please put a note in the e-transfer which includes the name of the person booking and the date being booked. Once your form and payment have been received, we will contact you to confirm your booking.
