#IPSMasterworks: Ed Talks by Grade Nines Start June 12

#IPSMasterworks Presentations are Tuesday, June 12, Wednesday June 13 and Thursday June 14, 2018. Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our Grade 9 middle school students as they showcase their inquiry based presentation in a public forum on a topic of their choice.

How does power negatively affect behavior, how does advertising influence our decisions, and how does dance reflect women’s roles in society? The answer to these questions and more await at the 2018 IPS Masterworks Presentations by Island Pacific School Grade 9 students.

Students have been working on these passion projects with teachers and community advisors since the fall; the presentations, much like a professional Ed Talk, never fail to surprise and inform the full-house audience that arrives each June to take in #IPSMasterworks.

The IPS Masterworks Program is a distinctly different middle school graduation requirement at Island Pacific School that sparks their intellectual curiosity and provides the vehicle through which, middle school students earn warranted confidence.
