A second-generation business leader, IPS alumna Danielle Allan integrates technical and administrative grit as Allan Financial’s Finance Director. Over her seven years at the family business, she has operated from every chair. Danielle graduated from UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a focus on International Business and Sustainability. Her expertise, fresh insight, and commitment to social progress make her a unique and powerful agent of change in the insurance business.
Danielle is the driver of the Allan Financial Kiva Project – a micro-finance initiative responsible for lending almost $250,000 to 700 amazing female entrepreneurs in the Global South. She will also be in Rwanda this summer with the Wellspring Foundation, an education not-for-profit where she acts as a board member.
Danielle graduated from IPS in 2004, and continued on with the IB certificate program at WVSS. Since earning her Bachelor of Commerce degree, she has also worked as a small business administrative consultant, and co-founded SAF Jewelry – an online Turkish jewelry boutique.
Last summer, Danielle picked up a disc again, and now co-captains the greatest VUL summer league team around – Local Pint. She is inspired by an eclectic group of amazingly creative and supportive friends (and loves to brag about them – shout-out to Kevin Jacob for this pic!)
