Experience IPS Open House Event 2017
Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Please join us April 19th for a very un-serious look behind the scenes at Island Pacific School. Share lunch with us and then take part in a series of fun events including photo scavenger hunts, games and a photo booth. IPS is a unique little community; the more time you experience with us, the more you discover what makes us distinctly different independent school.
An invitation for you and a friend!
This is a chance for kids grade 5 and up who have already registered, or might still be considering IPS, to come and spend two hours at student-led activities on our campus. And, your student can bring a friend! The school will be divided into 6 groups with student leaders taking their “team” through various activities around the campus. It will be a good way for students to begin to familiarize themselves with a new setting. Bringing a good friend can be a nice way to ease into a new environment.
For Students: A fun afternoon of activities at IPS for kids ages Grade 5 and older. Bring a friend!
For Parents: An casual conversation with Ted Spear, plus time with IPS parent grade reps to ask questions about life at Island Pacific School. Lunch, coffee & tea will be provided.
Off-island families can take the 12:00 from Horseshoe Bay. Note! Be at the ferry ticket booth 15 minutes early because ticket sales close 10 minutes before sailing. Consider purchasing an Experience Card to save 40% on all travel. Students ride for free for school.Walk on the ferry and the IPS bus will be there to transport you to the school. The afternoon program ends at 2:30, so the IPS bus will transport families back to the 3:00 ferry.
