What Education Could Be: A Blueprint for a Better World

Dr. Ted Spear, Founder and Head of IPS recently presented this Ed Talk on Bowen Island and again at the 2016 FISA Convention in Vancouver. He is currently leading his faculty team through an exciting program innovation process and he will soon add book author to his list of accomplishments (and publications) in education.

On Thursday, April 14 at 6:00 Ted will be giving his own version of a “Ted Talk” by way of a presentation entitled, “What Education Could Be: A Blueprint For a Better World.” Based in part on a book he is currently writing, his talk will offer a forward-looking assessment of where he thinks middle and high school education is (or should be) going in the next 5-10 years. This presentation on educational innovation is a general exploration of possible futures in education.

Interested in IPS? At 7:00, Assistant Head and IPS faculty member Jen Henrichsen will join Ted to answer your questions about the why’s and how’s of an education at IPS.
